Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Parish Council

Come along to the Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday 20 May from 7pm at Burlescombe & Westleigh Community Hall.

The Annual Parish Meeting isn’t a Council meeting. It’s your chance as a community to get together to discuss anything you’d like to about living here and improvements that could be made. It’s informal and everyone is welcome.

Organisations and voluntary/community groups may provide reports, residents can bring ideas or ask questions, and the Council will share information about activities over the past year and plans for the coming year.

It will be followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, this is where we conduct Council business, and decide on our chair and vice-chair and committee/working group memberships for the coming year. It is a more formal meeting, but, as with all Parish Council meetings, is open to the public.
