The Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Parish Council took place on Wednesday 20 May from 7pm at Burlescombe & Westleigh Community Hall.

The Annual Parish Meeting isn’t a normal Council meeting. It’s a chance for the community to get together to discuss anything about living here and improvements that could be made. It’s informal and everyone is welcome.

Organisations and voluntary/community groups provide reports, residents bring ideas or ask questions, and the Council shares information about activities over the past year and plans for the coming year.

It was followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, where we conducted Council business, and decided on our chair and vice-chair and committee/working group memberships for the coming year.
