Positions and responsibilities: Quarry Liaison, Amenities

About me: I have lived in this area for 20 years. I worked as a Primary School teacher in Devon and Somerset and served on Burlescombe CofE Primary School Governors.

I want to bring our community together, especially Burlescombe and Westleigh. I was on a previous Parish Council here for many years, set up an emergency plan, was Quarry representative, helped to tidy up and establish the ORLAC railway path, liaised with the Primary School to plant snowdrops and bluebells along this path. I also organised litter clean ups in the village and I pick up litter regularly at weekends!

I am a ‘hands on’ member of the parish.
