While organised by the Council, the Annual Parish Meeting is NOT a Council meeting. It’s YOUR chance as a community to get together to discuss anything relevant to the parish. It’s an informal event at which the Council will share an overview of their activities, organisations and voluntary/community groups may provide reports, and residents can bring ideas or ask questions.

Free refreshments – tea, coffee, cold drinks and cake/biscuits – will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

Any organisation/group who wants to give a report should email clerk@burlescombeparishcouncil.gov.uk so they can be added to the agenda.

It will be followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council (7pm-9pm), this is where we conduct Council business, and decide on our chair and vice-chair and committee/working group memberships for the coming year. It is a more formal meeting, but, as with all Parish Council meetings, remains open to the public.

Both agendas are now available here: Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Parish Council.
