Devon County Council have put together useful information for residents about how to plan for emergencies such as power cuts, water outages, gas leaks and flooding.
The Council held a meeting on Monday 17 February at Westleigh URC Hall, catch up on the key updates.
Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) will change how our services are provided - moving from having both Devon County and Mid Devon District Councils to one 'unitary' council. There are five options on the table, on which you can now give your views.
Burlescombe Parish Council met on Monday 5 January at Westleigh URC Hall. The main topic on the agenda was the budget for 2026/27 and setting the precept (the part of the Council Tax that funds the Parish Council).

Ahead of the budget and precept for 2026/27 being set at the meeting on 5 January, the Council is holding a drop-in session for residents to come and ask any questions they may have - at Burlescombe & Westleigh Community Hall from 7–8pm on Thursday 4 December.
